Indonesia Investor ITAS is designed for foreign investors who want to live in Indonesia while carrying out investment or business activities.
This permit can be issued for up to 2 years and includes a multiple re-entry permit, allowing the holder to leave and return to Indonesia during the validity period of the ITAS.
Applicants must meet the required immigration and financial requirements before the application can be processed.
Validity for 24 months
Fees:
- New Process: Rp 20.000.000, including 24 months of multiple re-entry permit
- Extension Process: Rp 18.250.000, including 24 months of multiple re-entry permit
Validity for 12 months
Fees:
- New Process: Rp 14.000.000, including 12 months of multiple re-entry permit
- Extension Process: Rp 11.000.000, including 12 months of multiple re-entry permit
Individual Requirements
- Passport
- Proof of Personal Share Ownership (Minimum IDR 10 Billion)
Company Requirements
- Deed of Establishment and Legalization
- GMS (General Meeting of Shareholders)
- Ministry of Law and Human Rights Decree
- NPWP (Tax Identification Number)
- NIB (Business Identification Number)
- Company Bank Statements for the Last 3 Months (or a declaration letter if the bank account is newly opened)
NOTE:
- All payments must be made in advance before the process starts.
- The process takes around 8 weeks (can be more or less) and can only begin after all requirements are complete.
- Particularly for Investor ITAS, the applicant must have shares worth more than Rp 10 billion.
- All required documents MUST BE scanned in original color.
- Documents in languages other than English MUST BE translated into Bahasa Indonesia and legalized by a Sworn Translator.
- After a foreign worker has been working in Indonesia for a minimum of 6 months, it is mandatory to obtain:
- Personal domicile letter
- NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number)
- BPJS Kesehatan registration
- BPJS Ketenagakerjaan registration
- The ratio of foreign workers to Indonesian staff in a company must be 1:10.
